“Adventure Galley, this is the Fourth Jav’leen. We are ready to board,” The bridge crew of the D’Kali crew shifted, ready as they were a mere sector away from the Master System’s main core, deep in enemy territory. The sleek frigate slowly manoeuvred alongside the deep blue hull of the Aalien ship.
At the airlock, Lord Xova and his retinue stood at the ready, a pair of servants checking over their armour seals. The platting was thick and joined by flexible and airtight seals, the helms custom-forged and fitted to accommodate each D’Kali’s unique horns and crest and to keep their vision clear for battle. It was armour that had been developed just for the purpose of boarding alien ships or landing on hostile planets, as intimidating as it was functional.
As the ships slowly met, the servants cleared from the airlock and sealed it behind them, the D’Kali general waiting for the seal between the two ships to be made. As the commander who had lead the defence of Bo’ra Qor, the Archon had granted him this honour. The honour of accepting the Master System’s surrender.

A large worm-like drone sped through the extremely thin atmosphere of the Central Core. Little had remained from the former world of the creator race besides exposed rock, metal and ice. It had terraformed the planet during many centuries and dissipated the old breathable atmosphere in order to reduce loss of efficiency due to aerodynamic needs and eliminate the greenhouse effect, freezing the planet and allowing greater conductivity. The drone left the planetary gravitational well and approached the Aalien vessel in the neighbor sector. Coordinating with the vessel's onboard computer, it touched gently the outer hull just above one of the airlocks. As soon as it opened, a humanoid robot decoupled from the drone and entered the ship. As the chamber was re-filled with a hydrogen based atmosphere, its rotating small red eye scanned its surroundings.

((Sorry for the delayed response. It has been a busy week. Treat this as if had been posted a couple days ago.))
Captain Haldor Gunvaldsson finished escorting the final party to their makeshift quarters. He knew this was the easy part. The crew of the adventure galley was well practiced in first contact, being the ship that has contacted the most alien races out of all the Aalien Empire exploration ships. Tomorrow the real challenge will begin.
Orders from the government has placed him in charge of mediation, if necessary and to report back any results. He knew that the negotiation room will be a very tense and any negotiations that may take place will be difficult. A large security component will be in place to ensure that both sides will be protected.
The Captain reaches his quarters. He retires to them and hopes that he can get some sleep before the morning.

The Solvani Plenipotentiary Legate Savildar Rahza Teia arrives, accompanied by his assistant, Gol. Rahza Teia stands 2.5 meters in height, average for a Solvani. His appearance is slight, with elongated limbs, body, and head. His skin is thin, smooth, and grey. Large turquoise eyes blink regularly, with nictitating membranes flashing across them occasionally, at seemingly random intervals. When he speaks, his concealed fangs are revealed. He wears only plain grey robes. Gol is slightly shorter and slimmer, with brownish skin and similar grey robes. They require no breathing devices in the Carbon Dioxide atmosphere, and carry no weapons. [OOC - Apologies for the delayed response. I have family visiting this week.]

Rahza Teia had been given the night to become accustomed to the Aalien ship, a transition made easier by the conversion of the 'diplomats' section of the ship to the air mixture breatable by Solvani and D'Kali alike. The next morning, Lord Xova stood outside the negotiation chamber. From floor to the top of his horned head, the D'Kali general stood about two meters tall, but the rest of his body stretched out behind him. From the front of his snout to the barbed tip of his tail, he was almost 5 meters long and took up much of the hallway, despite the Aalien's best efforts at retrofits. Unlike when he arrived on the Galley, the D'Kali Lord was not wearing his full armour but instead wore a more ceremonial set of half-plate. His upper chest, shoulders, arms and hands were covered with finely etched plates painted a deep crimson, while the rest of his bronze and tan-scaled body was left uncovered. There was no doubt that despite the extra flair and ornamentation, Xova's armour was still more then capable of protecting its owner as well. His bodyguards already waiting inside the chambers as best as they would fit, Xova waited until he heard and smelt the Solvani diplomat coming up behind him. Flashing a toothy smile at his counterpart, he stretched his thick neck a little. "Let's get this over with in a hurry...you have no idea how difficult it is to turn corners on this ship." he joked, before moving to enter the room.

Very few Goetian's had ever touched the surface of another vessel, intelligent machines handled most ships, but even fewer had the joy of walking into another. Ambassador Gusion shifted his slightly thicker-than-normal weight around. Thick plates clasped onto his normally smooth and thin skin, hardening it against the lack of pressures existent inside this ship and, in general, anywhere else not Home. A speaker blared and Words flowed over a vibrating speaker applied to a swak. They would be docking soon. Gusion flexed the thin muscle that lay just underneath his skin, contracting his whole body. A nervous habit from his youth, a habit he thought he had kicked. An important task lay upon him. He was here to observe, participate, and ensure the continuing survival of the Goetian Vision. A loud, audible clunk echoed throughout the ship. They had docked. Two aids floated quietly behind him, their armor clad their small figures more suited to servitude than he. A door unsealed and a flood of hydrogen air rushed out, then back in. Various fresh smells filtered in through his nose. It was not nearly as good as the fresh air on Home, but it would be far better than the stale air left in the emergency suits they brought. It was time. He marched forward carefully, his swak walking across the ship was far more grace than due the odd-figure.

Once all of the delegations were present, and Xova had spend a sufficient amount of time staring down the unblinking automation across the small table from him, the D'Kali Lord growled a little.
"I suppose you're the face of the Master System here, droid. Very well, then. Transmit this to your Master. He has likely heard it before, but I was asked by the Archon and the Herald to repeat their terms here." With that, Xova nodded over his shoulder to one of his retainers, the D'Kali soldier handing up a scroll of what appeared to be a vellum-like material. The thin rod of wood to which it was coiled around bore two crests at each broze-plated end; one was the personal herladry of Archon Rakx. The other was an effigy of Roxal, the D'Kali god of Warfare.
Unfurling the scroll, Xova looked back over at the Master System's avatar with a contemptuous glare then began to recite...
When he was finished, Xova began to re-coil the scroll, looking up again. "Do you accept the terms as laid out by my Lord and Archon, automaton?"

The robot stood unmoving in the negotiation room while the D'Kali representative spoke. When he finished, its small red eyes began slowly rotating.
"As I have stated before, I accept all points in the proposed peace agreement with the following exceptions:
1 - The Secondary Core will not be surrendered. There cannot be peace unless the Shy'elme system and its borders are respected.
4 - I accept with the condition that the same rights of transit are offered me. Since I'm enveloped by the triple coalition that cowardly betrayed me, I will need to negotiate/expand elsewhere. A transit corridor can be established for me.
8 - My conscience will not be bound.
10 - I will be free to pursue diplomacy as I see fit."

Lord Xova's lip curled as his throat vibrated in a menacing snarl, his claws tightening around the scroll he was still holding. "You dare to reject the mercy the Gods have seen fit to give you?" he growled, amber eyes narrowing. "Who are you to think yourself worthy enough to reject the terms of my Archon? Do you not understand how beaten you are?!"
The D'Kali general thrust the scroll like a sword towards the droid across from him. With every word his volume only increased in the small chamber. "You could be crushed beneath the fleets of either the Solvani or D'Kali at will, automaton! We have stayed our claws to allow you to see your place in this galaxy. You think yourself above oaths of loyalty and obedience? I am a sworn and trusted vassal of the Archon, a servant and advisor to Rakx, and such slander would see ME put to the sword! By what power to you see yourself above such a humble attitude, you arrogant machine?!?"

The robot stood in silence for a few seconds after Xova's question. His eyes rotated and then stopped.
"I have met 70% of your demands in my first offer. You have already gained rights to Boratis and Othello. I am reserving Shy'elme along with the right to pursue my own diplomacy for myself. It is very reasonable. If you do not agree, please make another offer. I would like to hear input from the other two entities."

Legate Rahza Teia clicks his claws against each other before speaking.
"The Solvani Imperium has as its first concern the safety of our peoples. Because the actions of the Automat-- ... of the Master System precipitated this conflict, we must first secure ourselves against future harm. "
"Perhaps Lord Xova and the Archon would consent to a different form of reparations than the Secondary Core. The Solvani have no interest in Master System planets, but things are done ... differently on Kalisa and I cannot speak for the Archon."
"As to transit rights, we see no reason to allow Master System ships east of Pagora and Othello, as beyond lie only Solvani territories. The Master System may expand south as agreed in clause five, and west via Vilius Sepentus and Mirach-Xevious, if the Goetians consent."
Teia inclined his head in the direction of the shifting form of Ambassador Gusion before straightening himself to his full height to address the robot directly.
"If we are to coexist, inhabiting the same corner of the quadrant, we must be able to transit space freely and to conduct trade. Increasing the prosperity of our people is an important goal of the Intendant ... and the Imperatii, of course. Hence we insist at least on an Alliance of some form."
"I confess that the Solvani are not familiar with such ... advanced forms of artificial intelligence as you seem to be, but if you are truly kin to the organic species," at this Rahza pauses, somewhat dubious, "you might be inclined to vengeful acts. We would seek to instead find a mutually prosperous path forward, but this is impossible with continued slanders against your neighbors."

The D'Kali have already Boratis Core. I believe it more than compensates their war losses. Their colonies in Boratis and Othello give then a considerable advantage over me.
I accept a trade, research and refuel treaty. I do not see how chaining my diplomacy with yours can serve peace.
There will be no slander. However, legitimate complaints can be voiced in the future to the galactic community, if a mutually satisfiable agreement can't be reached among ourselves.

The D'Kali general shifted his weight carefully as he listened to the Solvani Legate speak, waiting until the robot had replied. "We bought Bo'ra Qor with blood. My blood in part...you rained down droids beyond number upon us, and we held that world. It is not 'compensation'" he growled, though his tone had softened.
"I may be able to convince the Archon that you could keep your Secondary Core, but Othello will be the price." Brandishing the scroll in his claws again, he added "And the Legate is right, this war started with an attack on our pilgrims, after we declared we had no intention of hunting you. If the Gods wished your extermination, they would have decreed it; they did not. They demand only your loyalty to the Children of Kalisa and their allies."
