OCEANUS VI - Amarr warships have crossed the border into the Aquarii system and deployed minefields in Trading Company territory. "This latest provocation from the Amarr is unacceptable," Head Constable Sureka told journalists during a press conference at Constabulary HQ. "It is especially concerning when the latest Kortl starcharts reaffirm Trading Company sovereignty in Aquarii. Why would the Amarr disrespect their only protector and benefactor?"
The deployment of these minefields by the Amarr coincides with the new launch of 40 new warships for their invasion fleet. "The deployment of these mines, the launch of these warships, and the rejection of our peace offer can only mean that the Amarr assault is imminent," commented Lucius Starfox Sr., VP of Strategic Operations. A copy of the ITCo peace offer, which formalizes and demilitarizes the current border, can be found attached to this release.
As a result of these latest Amarr provocations, the ITCo Constabulary has been placed in a state of combat readiness, commercial traffic inside ITCo territory has been restricted, and numerous public events have been postponed or cancelled, including an anticipated interstellar conference at the Oceanus Institute for Astropolitical Economy. "It's kind of ironic that our conference has been cancelled due to the very threat we were gathering to discuss," said Dr. Zaius Khan, Director of the Institute. "We were looking forward to hearing from the brightest minds in the quadrant."

*** Formal Peace Between The Amarr Empire and Interstellar Trading Company ***
Section 1 - De-militarization of the Amarr-ITCo frontier
a. The Interstellar Trading Company and Amarr Empire may operate one observation vessel in each of the Aquarii, Antares, Chi, Juno, and Wenzhou systems
b. For the purposes of Section 1.a, an an observation vessel may not exceed 150kT in size and must be clearly named "Observation vessel X" where X is a numerical identifier
c. The Interstellar Trading Company and Amarr Empire empire will operate no more than ten warships in the Aquarii, Antares, Chi, Juno, and Wenzhou systems
d. For the purposes of Section 1.c, a warship will be considered any ship that is not:
i. a ship built on a transport, starliner, or colony ship frame
ii. an observation vessel as defined in Section 1.b
e. The Interstellar Trading Company will operate no more than one satellite in each of the Antares, Wenzhou, and Chi systems
f. The Amarr Empire will operate no more than one satellite in each of the Aquarii and Juno systems
Section 2 - Recognition of Sovereignty
a. The Interstellar Trading Company will recognize the sovereignty of the Amarr Empire in the Borr, Boksburg, Sigma, Antares, Wenzhou, Earthsea, Mira, and Chi systems
b. The Amarr Empire will recognize the sovereignty of the Interstellar Trading Company in the Aquarii, Hyperion, Oceanus, Arcturus, Juno, Alpha Draconis, Regulus, and Bulawayo systems
