All the proof that is needed was witnessed and recorded by a Solvani border ship. The Solvani enjoyed good relations and trade with the Master System, whereas we were still settling minor border disagreements with the D'Kali. This incident forced us to re-evaluate our position. The D'Kali colony ship was observed enroute to the Othello system with a small escort of two frigates (250kT) and three smaller vessels. Four Master System 600 kT Heavy Cruisers of the 2-1 class attacked, destroying the three smaller vessels. The D'Kali bravely defended their colony ship, destroying all four Master System heavy cruisers. Four new Master System heavy cruisers moved into the system, as the automaton was already prepared for war.
As the Solvani had scout ships in the adjoining systems that confirmed these ships had not simply altered course, we knew the D'Kali spoke Truth. Shortly thereafter, the Master System stopped responding to our repeated attempts at border negotiation and initiated claims to several of our systems on the galactic border grid. As we did not want our own colonists in the area to suffer the same attacks as the D'Kali pilgrims, we were forced to act. The Goetians, experiencing their own incursions by the entity, joined us and the D'Kali. The Solvani are by nature a race of traders and were unequipped for an extended war with such a powerful and dangerous foe. The shipyards of the Master System outnumbered those of Solvani, D'Kali, and Goetian combined. That is why we were forced to strike at these shipbuilding facilities, as they had already produced some thirty heavy cruisers upon our arrival. Non-combatant components of the System have been scrupulously avoided, at cost to Solvani lives. We object to any characterization of this conflict as anything other than what it is: A just police action against a rogue Artificial Intelligence by the consensus of its neighbors. - Intendant So'Weia

Shy'elme is the location of the Central Core. Boratis is just north and is the only system between the Central Core and the D'Kali Homeworld. The colony at Boratis Core is just one sector north of the warp point. The Central Core is just four sectors away from the other end of the warp point. I believe it is clear that it is a vital strategic point to me.
The Othello system is another system directly linked to the Central Core. If left unhindered, the D'Kali would have a beach head directly north, just six sectors away from my homeworld, and also directly east, on Othello. Despite my failed attempt to prevent it, they actually have a colony there. The four automated vessels I sent have been destroyed easily by their more advanced ships.
Naturally, I sent another four vessels to protect my colony on Boratis Core.
Since Othello is directly linked to my homeworld and two systems away from Kalisa (the D'Kali homeworld), it is obvious that the D'Kali planned to encircle me and use these advanced resupply stations in a future aggression.
Since Boratis Core is so crucial to me survival, I made an failed attempt to reconquer it. The Solvani had stationed a large amount of vessels there and despite our alliance, helped the D'Kali to destroy my small fleet.
The next month, the Solvani brought a large fleet from Boratis and entered orbit of the Central Core, surprisingly declaring war a little after. Since my fleet had just been destroyed at Boratis by the joint D'Kali-Solvani force, the Core was defenseless.
It is very clear that the Solvani took advantage of my dispute with the D'Kali over their attempt to colonize systems neighbor to the Central Core, recruited the Goetian (who remain silent and have not broke the treaty yet) and used their treaty with me to bring a large fleet to my homeworld and then declare war. A very treacherous move.
Even now, when I am completely defenseless and have no orbital facility over the Central Core, they keep a large force orbiting and blockading it. What do they want?

Silence, Automaton!!
Your poison will not spread any further, your duplicity and lies even as the Solvani show the very logs you sought to bury! The lords who commanded the brave Pilgrim Guard still stand watch over Oth'lo Wi, keeping at bay your forces, so it is the Solvani who had to present this truth! You speak of strategy and beach heads, but what would Bo'ra Qor have been to you? When we found you, I personally told you we had no interest. You were not prey, you were not food, you were no threat.
No threat that is, until your war spheres attacked the Pilgrimage to Oth'llo! This attack showed your true intentions to the Solvani, even as you prepared more of your warships to threaten Kalisa. Your lies are laid bare, automaton! Know now you could accept this subjugation. You will surrender yourself to the terms of your betters under the ancient laws of war and conquest or you will be utterly destroyed.
-These are the words of Khriss, Herald of the Hegemony

Subjugate myself to my betters under the ancient laws of war and conquest, or be utterly destroyed. I couldn't be anymore explicit than that.

As proof has been asked, it is here provided: Above is a map of the neighboring region. Colors represent permanent occupation of worlds in the system. I have occupied four systems directly neighboring the Central Core. The colony on Boratis has been taken by the D'Kali. Othello has colonies of both entities. I have two more colonies, one in each of the systems directly west and southwest. The system south is currently unoccupied. As you can see, Othello is a neighboring system to my homeworld but it is quite far from D'Kali core regions. I believe you can easily understand the reason for my failed attempt to prevent their permanent presence there. So far, I have had no contact with the Goetian besides the signing of a cooperation treaty. They have not complained in any way about my colont on Mirach, as they have a large expanse west where they can colonize. Concerning the region southeast of the Central Core, it has been claimed by the Solvani in its entirety. They have made proposals for a border agreement in the past but I have replied that I am in no position to decide as long as I have not explored that region. The question has been left open. Since I have made no attempt to colonize or otherwise occupy any in the systems in the region, I do not see how they can use my silence on the matter as a causus belli. Above is the proof required of occupation of my homesystem. As of 2405.9 there are no vessels of mine, except transports (starliners) between the Central and Secondary Core. The Solvani, on the other side, have brought plenty of warships, evidencing their invasion attempt has been in planning for some time and the causus belli they made up was a mere "a posteriori" excuse to plunder a vulnerabler neighbor. These entities have claimed I am only a machine, and therefore, deserve not have my rights respected. Since I am a sentient creature, there only difference between us is that while you are an organic machine, I am inorganic.

We hear no mention of the attack on the D'Kali pilgrims. We hear no reasonable explanation for this crime, because none can exist.
Instead we hear more falsehoods and half-truths.
The Solvani never claimed "the entire south-east". We did however propose reasonable borders with shared use of Rischa and Libra. These overtures for negotiation were rejected, delayed, then ignored. What could we do in the face of a military buildup by such a potent foe with a demonstrated regard for innocent life? I would not have Solvani colonists live in fear of another Automaton attack. So we armed ourselves as best we could, scraping together a hastily assembled squadron of small ships.
Those Solvani ships were indeed by Bo'ra Qor when the Master System moved INTO the system to attack the D'Kali. We did not fire upon the Master System fleet as is claimed. The battle was won by the D'Kali alone. The brave Solvani forces did seize the opportunity to strike the war yards above Central Core to stop the flow of war spheres. The Master System's own evidence shows the care taken to avoid supposed noncombatant Automaton segments.
Alone, we would have fallen one by one; together, D'Kali, Goetian, and Solvani stand against the Automaton and its perfidy.

Sometimes I overestimate the mental capacity of certain species. I will try to explain it again, but in a simpler way: The only reason I ATTEMPTED to destroy the D'Kali colony ship was because I realized it was bound to the Othello system. As you can see in the picture above, Othello is directly connected to the Central Core and it would provide an already hostile species, an advanced base right in my doorstep. I believe you can relate to that.
I didn't take the Solvani into the equation because I considered them FRIENDS. I was fatally wrong in that regard.
I believe you have records of my earlier attempt to ask for your help in my conflict with the D'Kali over the Boratis System. I had trust in your people, but it was treacherously broken with a back stab.
Since Boratis Core has been colonized by me, and the almost 20 million processing units there were unrightly cut off from me, it's only natural that I would ATTEMPT to take back what is mine and has been stolen.
Your use of our treaty and relationship of trust to attack my homeworld, blockade it and destroy all of my orbital infrastructure can not be construed as a defensive action. You insult all the other races with your irrational words.
Regarding the Solvani claim to the entire southeast, it can be easily verified at the political claim international map.
The "brave" Solvani forces that attacked the Central Core orbital facilities didn't need to be very brave. They were fighting a defenseless foe.

Master System,
Though your lies continue and you only pile on your own indignity, we bring terms.
On Kalisa it is thus when a war draws close to an end; When it is clear that one side has lost after the defeat of a major army of the capture of a city, the Roxal priests will invoke the Rights of the Fallen. Auguries are taken and suitable terms are offered to the defeated Lord. These usually enclude oaths of fealty, territory being surrendered, and slaves being offered. If the terms are rejected, then the defeated's life is forefit.
While you are likely not worthy of such respect, we confess that the Gods are...unclear on how such things should be done if the defeated foe is not D'Kali. The appropriate rituals have been done in the temples. Rakx the Visionary, Lord and Archon of Rox'ka and Master of the Hegemony, offers you, the defeated Automaton thus in the name of the D'Kali and Solvani:
1) Complete surrender of the Secondary Core to the D'Kali; do not scorch the earth or scuttle your ships, they are now D'Kali.
2) The Solvani allow you keep Othello Core, but retain rights to settle Othello VI in the future.
3) Rischa, Libra, and all systems east in the southern cluster will remain the sovereign domain of the Solvani.
4) Syrma and Pagora will be the domain of the Master System, but with transit rights for D'Kali and Solvani ships. The Solvani may settle Pagora I and Pagora III in the future.
5) Pyxis, Akiri, Vilius Sepentus, and Kestra will be open to development and settlement by Master System, D'Kali, and Solvani on a first-come basis.
6) You will cease further development in Mirach and Xevious, unless agreed to by the Goetian Imperium.
7) Treaty of Military Alliance to be signed with D'Kali and Solvani; your wealth and ports will be shared.
8) Oaths of Fealty to the D'Kali and Solvani; Our friends will be your friends, Our enemies will be your enemies
9) Oath of Might; You will maintain no more then 10 orbital shipyards of whatever quality you see fit over your Central Core, and will not be permitted to built warspheres in quantities exceeding your masters.
10) Oath of Silence; You will cease your slander of the D'Kali and Solvani.
These are the terms brought by Khriss, Herald and Bearer of Standards for the Hegemony. You will accept these terms offered by the Gods, or you will be destroyed.

D'Kali creatures,
There is no state of war between us. Since the Solvani were the only ones to openly begin hostilities, and are the ones to actually hold the Central Core hostage, I expect their endorsement to these conditions.
There is no merit in defeating me using under handed and treacherous tactics, as the Solvani did, neither in forming a coward coalition of three against one. I refuse to concede you or the Solvani any honor in this and I refuse to recognize any just reason to this war of aggression.
One the other side, I concede that my options are very limited and support from other political entities in the galaxy, with the exception of the Norak, has been non-existant.
Concerning your proposal, I accept the following:
1 - I will not surrender the Secondary Core nor anything inside the Shy'elme system. The homesystem of a political entity must be completely sovereign.
2 - I accept.
3 - I accept.
4 - I accept, with the condition that similar rights of transit are offered me. Since no expansion will be allowed in my immediate vicinity, I will need to expand elsewhere.
5 - I accept.
6 - I accept.
7 - I accept.
8 - I reject. It is unjust to bound one's conscience to another.
9 - I accept.
10 - I reject. As per number 8, I will not accept my conscience to be bound.
I ask the input of the other powers and ask for a neutral mediator.

To all combatants and the intergalactic community as a whole:
The A.S.S. Adventure Galley is currently enroute to a sector near the Central Core. The purpose of this course of action is to provide a neutral site for negotiations and to provide an independent set of eyes to help prevent Genocide at the Central Core. The Adventure Galley is unarmed and will consciously avoid any shipping or military routes. Due to it's small size, each party will be allowed 2 representatives of average Galactic size. These representatives will be provided quarters with their native atmospheric gases supplied. The negotiation room will be of standard Aalien Hydrogen mixture. Security of the persons will be the responsibility of the Adventure Galley crew while the representatives are on the vessel.
The Aalien Empire hopes that this action will speed the creation of a lasting peace in the region.

Our own experience with artificial intelligence inclines us as experts in this area concerning the Master System. We have concluded that our own AI's are not phonologically sentient. We, are reasonably certain, however, that the Master System presents a reasonable case for sentience.
We have entered a partnership with them in order to evaluate and determine whether or not they are as they claim. After a period of evaluation, began last year, we have concluded that they are indeed sentient as the scope of their subjective experience and the expression of that experience goes far beyond our own AI's capabilities.
The very question of their desire for power implies sentience as a being lacking sentience has no concept of power. This is why our AI's serve as pilots and this AI is subverting worlds to their core vision, whatever that might be.
We would discourage any political agenda that results in the elimination of the Master System's intelligences as they present unique variety in the galactic biosphere. We all know that diversity is important to life.

To the Norak; we are not debating the sentience of the Master System. We contest it's persecution of expansion or power at the expense of the Hegemony and it's pilgrims.
To the Aalien, we will accept your offer of neutral ground on which to accept the Master System's surrender. In fact, this pays us great respect, as neutral temples are often used for this purpose on Kalisa. We would request however that the negotiation chamber is more of a mix suitable to Solvani and D'Kali breath. I am sure this will be fine for the Master System's avatar, as the automaton does not breathe.
And to the Master System, you seem to assume these terms are for negotiation when they are not. And even if they were, the Oath of Fealty and Silence are perhaps the most sacred, they will not be ignored. These terms have been brought forward by Sacred Rites and with the wisdom of our Solvani allies.

I accept a meeting onboard the Aalien vessel. I will send an Avatar specially customized for the occasion. Since what's being contested is my expansion (my resistance to D'Kali expansion actually) I believe the three points I rejected in the peace offer are not unreasonable.

<<< INCOMING PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM SOLVANI INTENDANT >>> <<< MESSAGE BEGINS >>>
The Solvani take great offense to any suggestion of the possibility of a genocidal attack. Leaving aside questions of ontology, the Solvani have exercised every care to avoid any destruction of non-processing segments or processing units.
We will assume that this misinterpretation is a product of the fraught nature of inter-species translation. Therefore, the Solvani agree to participate in discussions aboard the Aalien vessel, with the condition that the Goetian Vision is permitted to send two observer-beings. Although their physiology may pose difficulties in creating a suitable habitation environment, we insist on their presence as a neighbor-species of the Master System. We would be willing to bear the burden of retrofitting for such an environment if the Aalien are unwilling or unable to do so. Likewise, we would prefer a Carbon Dioxide atmosphere, as requested by the D'Kali.
Solvani forces blockading the Central Core have withdrawn from their positions in the past several weeks and a temporary non-aggression armistice has been proposed by the Imperium. This was under my orders and initiated as a unilateral gesture of goodwill.

We thank the Solvani for their offer of retrofitting space for us. We of the Goetian Vision will send two observers to this interaction. They will bring self-contained suits, admittedly a bit bulky, but will survive the event for general interactions, however the quarters will undoubtedly require some retrofitting. We will forward the necessary plans and requirements to the appropriate species.
We look forward to this event to stamp out the difficulties of space-faring races first interactions.
