Broadcast Message from Darkstar Alliance

A counter to the claims of Suliman by Darkstar Alliance:

We come here before the view of all species in this galaxy to counter the innocently mistaken claim of Darkstar to the sector Suliman. Yes, We of the Vision admit the sector has remain uncolonized for quite some time, but not from neglect and unwant, but rather a limitation of resources. However, before such subject can be broached, a basis for our claim must be presented.

We have claimed Suliman since the day The Eyes That See (model 001) left its space dock. In fact, in the presented Figure 1
all can see that the Vision has laid claim to this sector a whole 6 cycles before the Darkstar Alliance ever approached it.

However, there are several components to sector possession. We recognize that possessing a colony in the sector is a large portion of the claim to a sector. We present Figure 2 . Here we establish that in 2405.4 the Darkstar Alliance not only has no ships in the sector, they have not even deployed claimant beacons in Suliman. This is a whole 30 cycles after their initial discovery of the sector.

Furthermore, these logs reveal that not only has the Darkstar Alliance has not yet placed even a sentry in the sector until 40 cycles after the supposed discovery. All the while, We of Goetia have had ships through the sector nearly through the entire time.

We have now established that our claim to the sector predates the Darkstar Alliance colonization. Here we present the final piece of evidence that the Vision should be recognized full ownership rights to Suliman. We present the colony ship Spreaders II (Model 004). It has sat inside the sector for 3 galactic cycles

, awaiting trade negotiations with the Darkstar Alliance. We can see that the Darkstar Alliance has now established a sentry in the sector. We were a bit alarmed at the original placement, but our Seers foretold of no conflict arising from these sentries. However, as we can see in [the following figures] the colony ship remained idle for some time. It was during this time that We were in negotiations with the Darkstar Alliance for knowledge regarding Gas Technologies. At some point post opening negotiations, the Goetian Vision no longer required the original terms of the arrangement. However, at the same time We noticed a colony ship colonizing the planet Suliman [find appropriate planet]. We offered the Darkstar Alliance the Technology we have mastered in exchange for recognition of full rights to Suliman. We would not wish for a conflict to arise. However, the Darkstar Alliance rejected those terms and negotiations have since fallen through and Darkstar has grown the colony within.

We remind the races hearing Our message that We have possessed a claim on the system for longer, have had a constant influx of ships through the sector, and have had colony ships waiting inside the sector for far longer than the Darkstar Alliance. As such, We call upon all races in this Galactic Audience to recognize Our claims upon the Suliman sector.

We can also explain why the ship was idle since we arranged a trade and the Goetians communicate with us that it was the ships selected for the trade waiting for its counterpart, that, when they change their mind on the trade we used to establish a secon outpost (our first was already there from some time). We made our proposal in sharing that system with our first broadcast message and are always interested in negotions as first and better choice to deal with alien races
