$7.49 for Endless Space. I kiinndaa want it, but I'm holding out for Distant Worlds:Universe. What do you guys think? Good?

I wasn't very impressed with Endless Space. Also I feel Distant Worlds isn't worth all the hype, though I haven't played the most recent expansion . I have played the rest of the expansions and while I can certainly see why people would love the game, when it comes down to it I feel real time just isn't ideal.
That being said, if there is a tempting deal I would love to pick it up and give it another shot. I pirated Distant Worlds before, and would like the chance to pick up a legit copy without having to spend the $100ish that Distant Worlds cost for all the expansions before they released it on steam.

I picked up Endless Space because it was $7.49. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm not holding out a lot of hope.

I found endless space really enjoyable for the research and empire building aspects of the game, but the combat mechanics really fell short.
