Despite the renunciation of claim of the Piscium system by the Darkstar Alliance, they have sent forth a full war fleet into the disputed system. This fleet has been destroyed by the Tau Ceti Empire defense forces with minimal casualties.
These final actions have made it clear that the Darkstar Alliance cannot be trusted to negotiate peacefully and in good faith. In order to ensure the safety of Empire citizens and to protect Empire interests, we must remove the Darkstar Alliance's ability to wage war.
Relations between the Tau Ceti Empire and the Darkstar Alliance are now at a state of war. We ask the galactic community to support the Empire in our quest to contain this threat to galactic peace.
