Oceanus VI - Following today's high-level meeting of Company executives, the director of the Trading Company Constabulary briefed Oceanian journalists about new security policies taking immediate effect throughout Company operations.
"The Quadrant is becoming increasingly dangerous," said Head Constable, the Baroness Sureka. "Not all of our neighbours have peaceful intentions, so we have updated our security policies to ensure the protection of Company employees and property."
Key points from the revised security policies:

a. For the purposes of these policies, a foreign organization includes any body corporate with which the Interstellar Trading Company holds no agreement
of military alliance.
Section 5.6 - Foreign non-commercial traffic
a. Foreign organizations are limited to two observational craft within Company borders,
b. For the purposes of Section 5.6.a, an observational craft may not exceed 150kT in size and must be clearly named "Observational Craft X" where X is
the numeric identifier 1 or 2,
c. Ships may be exempted from the provisions outlined in Section 5.6.a-b upon specific permission from the Bureau of Intercorporate Relations.
Section 9.2 - Foreign military traffic
a. Foreign organizations may operate a maximum of ten warships within the Interstellar Trading Company Defensive Perimeter,
b. For the purposes of Section 9.2.a, the Interstellar Trading Company Defensive Perimeter includes all sectors within 12 sectors of an Interstellar Trading Company satellite border post,
c. For the purposes of Section 9.2.a, a warship will be considered any ship that is not:
i. a marked observational craft as defined in Section 5.6.b,
ii. a ship built on a transport, starliner, or colony ship frame.
Section 13.4 - Contraventions of security policy
