With the destruction of the bulk of the Darkstar Alliance fleet in the Battle of the Piscium Nebula and the Presence of the Empire fleet in the Alliance home system of Bursa, further bloodshed is no longer required if the following terms can be adhered to:
1. System Claims:
The Darkstar Alliance shall remove all claims on the following systems:
Piscium
Loki
Epsilon
Mizar
Mirkwood
Novomoskovsk
Zeta
Inverness
These systems will be considered Tau Ceti Empire territory and should be avoided by Alliance ships.
In Addition to the systems above, the Darkstar Alliance shall remove their claim to the planet Bursa IV. Reasoning will be elaborated later in this document.
2. Shipyard and Ship limitations
The Darkstar Alliance shall be limited to a total of 12 Space Yard Stations or Ships in the Bursa System. The total for warships in the Bursa System will also be 12. These are for defensive purposes only. There is no limit on non-combat ships. Designs for non-combat ships must be forwarded to the Empire to confirm their status.
3. Treaty Obligations
A treaty of Military Alliance will be maintained with the Tau Ceti Empire. Treaties with other Empires in the Galaxy will be limited to Trade And Research Alliance or lower. The purpose of this clause is to prohibit the Darkstar Alliance from assisting other powers in strikes against the Empire.
4. Bursa IV
To ensure these obligations are met, the a supply and monitoring base will be established by the Empire on the Planet of Bursa IV.
While these conditions may seem harsh to some, the Tau Ceti Empire was unwilling pushed into this War. These terms are designed to eliminate the ability of the Darkstar Alliance to threaten the Empire again. The Alliance is still able to expand in the east and north eastern direction and we will not inhibit that growth.
Failure to agree to these terms will result in the Empire forcibly removing the Alliance's ability to construct another fleet to threaten the Empire.
