After hiding a war fleet in a nebula adjacent to the Amarr home system the ITCO broke treaties with the Kortl people destroying several unarmed Kortl ships as well as the Kortl embassy above the Amarr homeworld.
Not only did they invade Amarr Sovereign territory but they broke the long standing peace agreement and began attacking Amarr assets and colonies.
The Amarr asks the international community to condemn this agression.

I condemn the environment created by ITCO's attacks. I requessssttt ITCO retreat from Amarr Sssovereign Territory. Thissss would be a ssstep towardsss normalizing relationsss once again. Until ssssuch time as relationsss are normalized, I musssst break tiesss with ITCO.

I too condemn the actions of the Company, once again, for their brutal destruction of tens of millions of Amarr civilians. However, despite all inclination, we will maintain ourselves within Amarr borders and maintain a future potential for peaceful resolutions of this conflict. Despite the destruction of our diplomatic station, and the sixty two hundred Kortl aboard, we still hope for a peaceful resolution and would like to reiterate that we are not currently at war with the Company, as they seem to imply. We are simply removing their vessels from allied borders. We have eliminated them from a few systems already, and should have them removed within the year.

The Kortle and Amarr peoples have a Defensive Pact. Third Article States:
The ITco have met these provisions for the following reasons: - The murder of 10 Million Amarr civilians via planetary bombardment
- The ITco Invasion of the Amarr homeworlds
- The Destruction of the Kortl Diplomatic Embassy
- The assault on unarmed Amarr resource colonies
- The assault of Kortl ships wholly within Amarr territory
- And the mobilization of war fleets into Amarr soverign space
This treaty requires an immediate declaration of war to avoid breaching our treaty. The aggression and treachery displayed by the company will be paid in kind. |

I understand the obligations here, although I am wary about the somewhat nebulous objectives that are set as a defensive action. At what point is our obligation completed? We will currently set the conditions for our obligation at one of two possible outcomes. Either the Company makes peace with the Amarr or when the Company is no longer in a position to make war against the Amarr, due to the removal of their war fleets. As soon as one of those are true, we will resign our conflict with the Company.
Regretfully, concerning galactic stability, we will do as you ask and fulfill our part of the agreement. We appeal to the other races to persuade the company to find a sensible way to make peace at the earliest opportunity.
