This month, the Amarr and Kortl were successfully able to destroy the Primary Company fleets positioned on the borders of Amarr space at the Aquarii-Antares gate and the Wenzhou-Aquarii gate. Both combats concluded with the near or complete destruction of the primary Company offensive fleets. Despite Heavy casualties among the Amarr and Kortl fleets, the Company should no longer have any large fleets capable of continuing an assault upon Amarr space.
The Kortl and Amarr have warned the galactic community numerous time of the ill intent of the Company, demonstrated by their constant incursions into Amarr space, and an surprise attack upon the Amarr home-world, performed from a secret fleet hidden in a nebula well inside Amarr space, resulting in millions of civilian casualties. Their continued inability to negotiate a peace or ceasefire demonstrated the need to remove their ability, albeit temporarily, to make war. Several offers, publicly and privately, to negotiate a peaceful resolution were ignored.
Since there is no further need to maintain defensive forces in the south, given that the Company no longer has possession of their primary fleets, there should be no further need to enforce our treaty obligation to protect the Amarr.
The Kortl Society has declared a ceasefire with the Company, but will monitor the situation closely. If the Society attempts to breach Amarr space again, beyond the few satellites still present in the somewhat chaotic Antares system, the Kortl will likely redeploy the Borr forces which were withdrawn five months ago.
