Hi everyone! This is Nick. My username is "TMSUS", because "The Most Serene Universal State" - My Empire's name - is too long for this board, apparently.
This forum will be used to communicate about the game. The upper half will be for posting RP stories, the lower half for more metagame stuff. Pretty self-explanatory.
I want to provide a few important links for everyone:
1. Play By Web 2: pbw.spaceempires.net/
This is the website where Space Empire games are organized, and turns processed/executed. Every turn, you will download your turn from this website (or have it emailed to you), and in one way or another upload it to the site when its finished. You will need to create a profile on this website. It also has a massive collection of ship set designs to play around with, I highly recommend taking a look.
2. Proportions Mod 3.1.3: spaceempires.net/mods/proportions
This is the current game mod we will be playing. Installation instructions are in the readme, and are straight forward. If you have any installation issues don't hesitate to ask.

This is a google doc in which we are just aggregating everyone's preferences for the game. Don't feel bad if you're new and don't know all the categories!
Finally, I'm planning to write a brief tutorial/introduction to proportions for our new players, if anyone would be interested in helping, let me know.
