The disturbances flowed like the storms of yore, before the Great Projects. These strands, normally gentle waves, of time dashed upon rocks of uncertainty. Decisions made now would alter their future in ways that could not be predicted. The Vision set forth lay in ruin. The Vision that guided them lay torn asunder in the Halls of the Eersti. Unseen forces and unknowable forces altered the path with a vengeance only seen during the wars of past. How could this be? The First Caretaker had laid down the path as clearly as could be! How could the Caretaker not have noted these disturbances? How could the Caretaker not have spoken of these these disruptions to calm flow of time? The Imperator shivered. Could the First Caretaker Sight lead to a falsehood? Could the guiding light of their society truly be so easily dashed upon the rocks of these unknowables? The Imperator slid one of many swak across the control panel, the appendage guiding its ship towards the Center Of Peace. The very spot upon which the First Caretaker pondered the future of the Goetian's and laid down the Vision that guided them all.

Elsewhere on the "surface"... "The Imperator's silence means it has no answer! We must forge our own path now. the time for listening to an ancient ruler's failed path is go-"a whiplike tendril slapped across the speaker's soft, shifting body. "Speak no ill of the First Caretaker, Alodriun. His path guided us from a seemingly inevitable extinction to exploring the stars!" Alodriun's many swak waved lightly in the calm breeze of open building. To be backhanded by his superior, Champion Daomun left him stinging on more than his surface. However, even he knew that taking on Daomun would end poorly for him. The superior Goetian contained some of the oldest and wisest swak, swak that supposedly came from the Great Fighters themselves. "Forgive me, Champion Daomun. I am merely worried. Three years ago, we were alone in the universe, then...we were not. We have both seen the signs and signals, Champion. The First Caretaker never spoke of this, never mentioned in the Vision that we would not be alone. The rivers are too rough and we are not prepared."The Champion turned so his visual sensors stared off into a distant, dark cloud. The cloud's orange hue mixed freely with bands of red and sparks of blue lightning. "That is why the Imperator goes to the forbidden location. It is there we can discover our future. The crossing point of time. We must have patience, Alodriun. "Alodriun plodded on several swak to just behind his friend and superior, staring at the same cloud. "Will the aliens have patience when they come in their ships? They are coming, my friend. I would rather not require the illumination of some ancient manuscript to decide if they are friend or foe..."

A return to the Imperator] The Imperator shook its whole body. Here. Here time ran like a broiling storm. Sometimes faster, sometimes slow. Always changing and turning. Slowly the Imperator half walked, half floated across the famed asteroid. The ground was rocky and the Goetian, having lived on a world where the majority of life was spent floating amongst the hydrogen gases of Thalak, was unsure of its footing. Slowly it wandered across the surface, its direction not particularly known. It had only received a cryptic message from the Mwonaji seers. “Go to the home of the First of us all has seen the future. Elso~ will guide us in these times.” No Goetian dared to disobey the commandment of the Mwonaji seers. Especially when their opinions were so unanimous. Every single one, each of the 11 Mwonaji spoke to him of the importance of this mission. So. So he went. The Imperator stumbled, his billowy body scraping against a rock, slicing a wound on the soft flesh of its form. “Caretaker. Ye who was first. The Guider. Help us now in this time of indecision. ...“the Imperator’s voice trailed on reciting a prayer to spirit of the First Caretaker. Ground that lay untrodden since the Unification bore new, shaky steps….

A return to the surface]Alodruin’s swak lazily floated in a gentle breeze, twisting and curling as each gust of fresh hydrogen cooled his body and twisted the finer tendrils. It was a calming day. “The hydrogen rivers in Thenalari have risen in height 16 meters and the mercury rivers have sunk 19! The scientists must be crazy over this.” Daomun laughed heartily. “Ah, still so young. “he flicked a ceremonial rock-dagger in a smooth motion, slicing a slowly rising colored gas cloud. The cloud split into three separate paths before fading into the background. “The rivers have flowed like this before. It means nothing. In fact, the seers are calling for stability.”The Champion set the blade down and float-walked over to his friend. His Eersti flicked into a nearby bowl and grabbed a small grouping of rezen. Their small, circular shapes wiggling slightly as if ready to explode. The harvest was perfect. Rezen were just right when picked as the plant began blooming and the spore pods had not exploded, but were shifting to do so. “Juicy. “the Champion lowered himself to a bed, watching off into the distance. He squinted his visual organs, tilting his body to the side. “Looks like your nice day is going to end sometime soon, Aldoruin. Get back to work before a Corrector sees you. They would be most irate at your lackadaisicalness. They’ve got a hard enough time as it is. Don’t make it harder on them!”Alodruin flicked a swak at Daomun in playful jest. “Bah, the clouds will clear before the damage is done. I’m not needed to clear it!”. Daomun walked off, shaking his body in mild amusement and disappointment in his friend’s initiative.
